Shinedown rocks the House!
The show was a sellout, with everyone packed into the place. Airborne and Bush warmed up the crowd by rocking. Bush's set was hoped to last a little longer, leaving everyone wanting more. Most of their popular songs were still played, with "Little Things" being the highlight for me. Gavin Rossdale smoothly moved through the crowd for a more intimate concert experience, standing right next to me on the floor. That was way cool, good times. Saves the Day then took the stage. The lead singer, Brent Smith, was pumped and had an intense stage presence. The band, with Eric Bass, Zach Myers, and Barry Keach, was very tight. Their music had a spiritual feel, with everyone singing along. They did a great cover of "Simple Man" that was a real highlight. Brent was very good at talking to the audience in an enlightening way. The night left me with a lasting impression of joy, shining down on us all.
